Pre-roll Ad Options

There are several options for Pre-roll Ads. The ads may run across all videos, or targeted videos based on the type of videos being displayed.

Pre-roll Ads are short so they never interrupt the flow of our main videos. However, they are excellent at keeping a relevant brand front and center during a series of viewer interactions. They are further effective when clicked, as they pause the player while the viewer interacts with the pre-roll information. When finished, the viewer comes back to the pre-roll and continues.

ROS (Run of Site) – This campaign will give you priority status, and will place your Pre-roll Ad in rotation on every video on our website for the duration of the campaign.

Contract – This campaign will enable delivery of your targeted impressions over the duration of your ad campaign. Our minimum run for a Pre-roll Ad contract is 50,000 impressions over 30 days.

Exclusive Contract – This campaign will ensure the priority delivery of your Pre-roll Ads throughout the website in the time specified. Exclusive delivery is always first in line regardless of all other similar campaigns.

Remnant – This campaign will serve your Pre-roll Ads in rotation with other Pre-roll Ads.

Our Pre-roll Ad consists of a movie displayed before our video segments.

Thus our standard Pre-roll Ads consist of an .flv movie, and possibly companion ads. The Pre-roll Ads are limited to a 10-15-second max.

Pre-roll Ads always occur prior to a video. We only have one pre-roll Ad per video.

The actions of the Pre-roll Ad may pause the Pre-roll Ad, open a new window to a page specified by the advertiser, and cause a Companion Ad to display.

Pre-roll Ads cannot be skipped. There is a countdown message displayed during the ad and the play/pause and forward/reverse controls are disabled during playback.
